I'm hoping to save me some time. I know there's some here with a bit of experience with this subject as it happened at Brighthand.

1. I have a verified Prism based USB wifi (Netgear MA111, ver. 1)

2. I use prism based cards exclusively on all my hpcs.

3. All my hpcs have the needed registry entries for prism pcmcia wifi operation.

Does anyone have the PID & VID for my MA111 in the proper format (decimal IIRC) so I can create the needed keys? Better still, does anyone have the keys I can just import and save myself some more time?

Thanks all, I've been meaning to get this done for a long time.

Well, it's not really, but there are many steps.

If you look in your registry you'll see keys under \hklm\drivers\usb\loadclients in decimal format.
The values are from the .inf file for a desktop machine install. These values tell hpc2k which usb device (model & manu) is getting plugged in and how to react. Plugging these keys into hpc2k means the usb device (wifi) should run.

Since my d/t is flaky I'd prefer not to install any more drivers on it until I sort it out.

huh, can you tell me the steps? i would like to try it! or a link to a manual...

in return for your help, i can install the drivers and look at those values, just send them to me. (my desktop isnt that flaky... and it won't get flaky until i allow someone to mess with it again, requiring a windows reinstall lol)
