| Hi!
As I get tortured with CE2.00, I plan to install Linux on my PDA. But...I am a n00b. Can I do the following things with Linux too:
*LAN card support
*Playing my games(the CE EXEs)
*Using office tools, which create me Pocket Word/Excel compatible results
*Developing programs on the road
I would be very thankful for any answers.

| Sorry, but that question is way over me.
Until I really become an advanced programmer, I won't be able to help you on that topic. |

| I guess if you had a MIPS based H/PC, than it might work... |

| Well, ok. Technically you could get a cross-compiler for the SH3 (that right?) processor that the 620lx uses, and see what happens. If it is coded well, it will compile. Then see what happens.
But the real reason why CE 2 does not boot is something about missing functions. The bootloader would have to be rewritten to work. Definitely possible, but, as always, someone has to do it. |
