So if it's a machine you really want, throw in an extra five or ten. You won't feel it as long as it arrives intact.
hahaha, so true.. and i still lost that MP700 |

| Here's an ebay story of handheld woe: on ebay, I believe in Buy It Now (unless it's set at an outrageous price), so when an Osaris (Psion ER4) opened at $35 and with a synch cable and A/C adapter and CF card, I thought what a perfect backup to my Mako...
So I did the Buy It Now at $50 and had good communication with the owner, but lo and behold, he didn't tell me about the Osaris Hole, which is any time you access the D drive or use the backlight, the "Replace Main Batteries" flashes and the machine won't budge until you re-install the batteries. Makes the machine inoperable under most battery-only conditions.
Yeah, it was "news" to him, and I just didn't have the heart to fight him on a return. The cable and adapter and CF card all worked with my mint Series 5 that I eventually won on ebay for $40, which was an amazing price.
But had the Osaris worked, the difference between $35 and $50 is not a difference I would've remembered.
I'd rather slightly overpay and be done with the bidding and pin all my energy and hopes on the actual machine.

| Well done, on both purchases! Does your Velo come with the 2.0 upgrade?
Never heard of the Nino, though.

| Thanks... Not that I know of as yet, I believe the Velo did not come with a CE 2 upgrade. The Nino is a Palm Sized PC... |

| On ebay, I saw--I'm sure you did too--that some fellow sold an upgrade for nine bucks, so maybe he has more.
