I think of CE 1 as kind of an experiment really...what the 5 series had was very solid.

Even the Velo 1 looks somewhat like an experiment, the 500 was much more useable, just because of it becoming more stable of a product.


you never used a velo 1...

The Velo 1 has a built-in modem (a first [or second] for that time) and I guess you could call CE 1.0 a public beta...

mhmm, frame? not sure, i never really heard of that problem... the hinge can crack though. if you're not careful enough or you got a bad unit (again, quality control)...

how do you mean? the touch screen? that was another common fault..

my velo 1 is amazing in this respect though. it is a real joy to use its touch screen!!
