Hey, great news for PIE 2 users. I can't get in using ce 2.11 (PIE3?) on my 880.


well not so great news, as probably worldtalk doesn't run on CE 2 and logging in with PIE2 is quite a tedious job.
actually i have tried to run worldtalk on CE 2 with OS hexediting, of course i didn't expect success... i just tried it for fun and not even executabilitycheck will run on CE 2 so i can't troubleshoot the thing it does run on CE 2.11, btw. after the OS hexedit..

Sorry, but my Compaq 2010c is pretty much dead . I might get a replacement one at a later time, but I really want to get a AA powered grayscale H/PC with CE 2.0 (i.e. HP 360 LX)... I will try on my Velo 1...

the 360lx is a nice unit, mc16 is even nicer (black case ). i have that..

Well it does not turn on anymore. Fortunately, I still have the original Microsoft and Compaq discs and the cradle and sync cable...

but maybe only your batts need rebuilding.. should continue this discussion in the CE 2 forum.. there was someone who's rebuilding compaq batts

There's a few oddities like this input box is off the screen and all the smilies are in one row, but it's working.

Yeah, that's what I got. Can you get the smilies to appear in the input box if you tap on them? I couldn't. (Guess I could do them manually.) BTW, I noticed that I had WorldTalk on my 790 too. Didn't even know what it was until this thread.

i almost always enter the smileys manually so i dont know

yeah 790 comes with it, thats where i got it from
