720 and Services CD

I recently recieved an Jornada 720 from a friend. However he did not have any software with the machine and most of the time when I try to install something I'm prompted for the Windows CE Services CD. Is there a way around this? Can I still get this CD?

Your 720 does not work with CE Services... What are you trying to install?

What cmonex said.

You can also download an ISO of the CD from this site - however you don't NEED the CD to install apps, just ActiveSync on the system.

I just got a Dlink DWL-650 wireless card but I can not download the Compaq WL100 driver fro HP website. Does anyone know where I can find the install for the 720?

dwl-650? is it the original 16 bit version or the later cardbus?

The very first card listed under D-Links support page. I assume it is the 16bit version.

you can check it by looking at the card.. does it have a golden/metal strip at the end of the connectors?

I also have an SMC SMC2635W but it is not on the compatible list for the 720.
I also have 2 other cards that I can not seem to get to work.
Linksys PCMPC100 not the PCM100
3com 3CXE589ET

I would sure like to get ANY lan connectivity on this 720.
