Lol, gotta laugh at myself over this one.

Too lazy to read the manual or go online when I needed to hard reset my 790. Of course I tried everything but the hidden reset switch.

I can't tell you how much time I wasted restoring a huge backup that simply appended to the mess I had.

I finally googled for a quick fix and to my surprise, this site wasn't in the top 5 or even 10.

Oh well, that's my malfunction for the day. It's not nearly as dumb as the day I couldn't AS till I realized the sync cable needs to be plugged into *2* devices

Where did you find the hidden hard reset switch for the MobilePro 790. I know it is somewhere where the battery lies. I did a hard reset - but I think I stumbled on hitting the right place and never figured out what that was.

and also a CESD on how to hard reset sig3.
same method, but the switch is even harder to find..
well actually i didn't try to hard reset my MP780 now, but i think i see the switch (i just removed the battery to check it). it should be somewhere in the middle, in the big recess, and the switch is the left of it. sorry if i'm mistaken, i don't want to test it right now all of this is based on my experience with sig3.

You write the gist of it for me, and consider it done.
