| Right, this is information that we can work with.
The first two things I would do are perform a MBR reset and boot the system into VGA mode.
To get into VGA mode you need to add /BASEVIDEO to the end of the boot.ini line.
The MBR you can either run FIXMBR from the XP recovery console or use a Windows Millennium (preferably) boot disk (try www.bootdisk.com) and run
fdisk /mbr. | |
