| Okay,
I have searched the forums, and have questions about getting this to run on the 720. I have downloaded the Wisbar file from Cmonex's site, along with agyshells, arm files, and doclists.
It installed onto the 720 easily and will start up. Once running, it will not shut down (unless I soft reset) and I cannot get the configuration applet to run. Which files am I supposed to put into the program file? I am assuming agyhshell #4, olecce(spelling?)300, and which doclist? Thanks for the help. I didn't like gigabar on the 680 after the first week, hopefully I will like this better.

| didn't you just use the dummy dll files included in the wisbar zip on my site?
that should work..
oh and put all files into wisbar directory where the wisbar exes reside.. Edited by cmonex 2005-12-17 5:20 AM

| Using the files in the zip, I get-
"Application WisSettings.exe has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.
Program: WisSettings.exe
Exception: 0xc0000005
Address: 00d4f2ac"
When I try to open the settings.

| do you have any dummy dlls in your windows folder? |
|
|
|
| No, just in the folders with the .EXE It looks funny too. It is only halfway across the taskbar; I am assuming because it is for a PPC, just trying to give out as much info as possible.

| Cmonex,
Your files work. My problem is that I installed Wisbar Advance Version 1.3.2.2, not your wisbar. Sorry about the confusion. I uninstalled and installed yours. I don't like it, so I am back to trying to get the Wisbar Advance to working. It sorta works, even without the dummy files. I just can't get into the options to change anything. I have tried dumping every file in about every mix I can off of your site and it either gives me the same error, or cannot find application, yada yada. I really appreciate the help you are providing me. Thanks

| Did you get the files? I sent the CAB and the desktop installation. I don't really care about the desktop install file, but I thought it might help.
Thanks,

| all you need to do to get the WBA settings app to work is drop mfcce300.dll (404K), olece300.dll (254K) & doclist.dll (3K) into the wisbar advance folder in program files.
It operates fine with these three stubs. |
