Well it's good to know that you don't run out of battery too easily. It'd be too embarassing if:

Your watch is so big
It's a Palm PDA
Really? Cool! Oh what time is it?
Sorry, it just ran out of battery because I forgot to charge it last night...

BTW even Ironman is too big for my wrist. I'm more of an Expedition guy And here in Vancouver, we get lots of rain (like GB?). Don't really want a wrist watch that can get sick from a little bit of rain

But a quick look at eBay has shown some really cheap Abacus deals ($40 BIN or something). It might be cheap enough to get one and use it some other way... mmm, how about a Palm as a keychain?

The fossil is temping me more all the time. But....what do I then do with my loveable Tungsten W?
I know, I know, buy first and worry about a reason later

/begs forgiveness for even entertaining needing a reason for another gadget.

You won't have to sell the Tungsten W (somehow, that name sounds redundant since W is the chemical symbol for tungsten), cuz the Abacus doesn't have all those features crammed into a watch - just think PIM. (You can install some other apps, but there's only 8 MB RAM and [surprise!] no memory card slot. And, anyway, how many games do you think will fit on that tiny screen?)

FWIW, I got mine for a little over $30.

Well, there is one thing I like about Palms... You can have the oldest Palm and the newest Palm use the same sync software.. However, Microsoft usually cuts off devices...
