no this is the standard one
the extended is 3000 mAh... standard is 1500. and it is of course twice as big as the standard version. its (extended) part number is N001M (OAN70572)

i could get it from conics.net for ..... 245$!!! but i heard there are used ones for around 100$ in japan... that is more reasonable

OK, thanks... if you find something let me know.. contactchan (at) freemail.hu or if it is more convenient for you give me yours ...

ah, IE6... it may be possible? it surely can run, question is about how well it will be rendering etc.. but maybe it won't be too much of a problem, ce.net 4.1 is much closer to 4.2 than 4.1 is to hpc2000. i'll look into this!

btw if you need msn messenger too.. (dunno if the nexio has it, some ce.net hpc's don't) working on that already.. (oh don't think it is me who's working on it, i'm just testing.. and spreading the news & files )

IIRC the Nexio and the Sig III both have a 5-inch screen at 800x480 resolution.

As for the original question... I think Monster Chinese supports Japanese codes as well. Not sure if it'll work, but try the HPC version - scroll all the way down
http://www.mactiontech.com/download_monster_chinese.htm
(sorry for all the Chinese, but for some reason they link to the same download page from their English site)

Also I used to use Big Axe Chinese by Gismosoft for the Jornada, but that company seems to have disappeared from the web I still have the trial installer, which never expires for viewing functions (only the input part expires). This I know works for Japanese, because I tried it on the Jornada and viewed some Japanese websites. Even tho I cannot understand it, I could tell the characters were decoded properly (some characters match the images, hehehe). If you want I can email it or upload it right here. It's 4.55 MB tho.

However since I don't have a Nexio, I don't know if either one will work for you at all
