| Hello dear commuity!
I´m new to this forum and is a happy owner of two j720s.
The problem is that the CF cards that came with them are too small for my needs (64 MB and 128 MB).
I´ve seen that there are different types of CF to buy ("standard" CF, Ultra II, Extreme, etc, etc..). The difference between the different types seems to be reading/writing speed.
Question 1) : Is the j720 compatible with an Ultra II CF or does it only work with standard CF?
Question 2) :Is it possible to use a 4GB or 8GB card on a j720?
best regards

| Any CF will work in it, but only as fast as the system bus. So you could by a card 100x R/W speed, and it'll do little good if the bata bus cannot deliver information to it at that speed.
CF Type I is required for the CF slot, a CF Type II or III will work in the PCMCIA slot with an adapter.
You are OK to use 4/8 GB | |
