I received an email today about a photo from the Hubble Telescope; I thought it was real cool so I decided to look into it. I found out that the email was wrong and the colors were changed, but I thought the photo was worth sharing. I am including the real photo and the doctored one. I will also include some links about what the photo is. It is funny about how many people send emails with out checking the sources. The photograph is not just from the Hubble telescope, but is a composite of data from the Hubble telescope and from Kitt Peak in Tucson, Arizona. Anyone else have similar occurrences? This is a link to the real one http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap000828.html

Yeah, I was real pessimistic when I saw the lack of stars in the photo in the email. It is hard to believe most things in emails today. I think the original photo is more breathtaking than the doctored one. Yes C:amie you are correct.
