| I have managed to download and have Tomtom 5 working.
I have modified a GPS to transmit via an Infrared adapter.
(this definetly works because I can Hyperterminal all the data on my laptop Ir com.)
When I choose the IR port on tomtom, I get the little ball rotating (top-right corner)
but Still no GPS. (if I block the beam the ball stops rotating, so something IS happening)
I contacted tomtom but they said we don't have/support Ir com so %$$ off.
IF anyone has another Working Nav software I could try, we may just get there.
or any idea why tomtom IR is not working properly.
There is also "Serial on USB" - what is that, how does it work? | |

| serial to usb ... that would need usb host on the bsquare i guess | |
| |
| i think the usb on the bsqare is an onboard usb to serial adapter- so there must be a way to connect a usb gps to this prot with an usb to usb adaprer plug. maby this will work | |
