HELP!! I have read all the threads and I can't seem to get the CLIK drivers to work on my 820. I'm trying to use Usb thumb drives.

When I type in the driver name, after drive insertion, I get an error in installing driver popup.

When I extract the files from the Japanese site, I don't get cabs, I get individual files ie. 0CLIKusb - clikusb~1 thru 4 etc.

I even tried the DEJE mass storage drivers for usb with a usb hd.

I had managed to have CAB files associated with WINZIP. Changed the associations, rebooted, downloaded the cab file again and installed to the 820.

Works great with my Kingston Data Traveler thumb drives. Recognizes my Seagate 100 gig USB drive, but it wants to reformat, its NTSF. My 40 Gig wasn't detected, because the 1st partition is Linux Reiserts file system. I will swap the partitions with Partion Commander.

The only Usb Cd drive I have is not working, so I can't check it.

This makes the 820 a much more useful machine for my style of work, I run around sticking my USB thumb drives in everybody's business .
Its the fastest way I've found to get and give data during a busy day.

I bought a 512 mb cf card for the 720 today, that just now got dedicated to the 820. I can put all my "cheat sheets" and formulas on my 820, for easy typing in my pickup thru the day.

Thanks for the brain jumpstart.

The 40 gig works fine, AND THE 820 SEES BOTH PARTITIONS!!!!!!
I have to find a power source for the drive, as the 820 doesn't supply enough juice alone, I had to "tap" the usb on my PC to spin the drive. Minor detail.
