From what I can observe on the manufacturers site, the program is only a PPC application - a tell-tell sign of .net CF as well.

Ultimately, this means you will need to do more than install the .net CF to get the program to run.

From what I can see, the program requires mscoree.dll and cellcore.dll to run, so the error you are getting is most likely to do with a deficiency in one of those DLL's.

Thanks for your reply, but this one doesn´t help much. I have mscoree.dll and mscoree1_0.dll in Win dir. Cellcore.dll too. It does not matter if I copy them into programs directory. But there is one problem more. Executability check says that blablabla.exe doesn´t match CPU type. Is that reason why these programs wouldn´t work? And is it possible to change that?

is this all that execheck said, only cpu type? (or maybe it wont analyse the executable any further then)

get peinfo from my page for example, and load the executable in it, and check CPU string in the main information. then tell me about it i'm sure it won't be 01C0 (ARM cpu identifier) but then what is it?

Ah, there are two ARM downloads available from the website
nyxhexeditor_ppc.arm.cab
nyxhexeditor_ppc.armv4.cab

ARMv4 doesn't mean Version 4 of the program, it means XScale rather than StrongARM. Did you download the v4 one by mistake?

what happens if you get all the exe's and dll's (of the plain arm version and not armv4 whatever) and copy them back to your PC and hexedit the cpu string in them? change the first instance 4C 01 of to C0 01 if i remember right. of course don1t get your hopes up high but it can help if only the cpu identifier is wrong (i did encounter such cases and not just with the sigmarion3)

Well, I find one string 4C 01 and replaced it. Exec doesn´t report any more about wrong cpu type and program doesn´t work either
Sad...
