I'm not very sure if this thread goes here, but...

I planned to use the Vadem clio as a photo viewer for my digital camera (and possibly do some in-site retouching -size, colors). But I'm beggining to see that is difficult to find software (any software) for my little notebook. Any ideas?

Also I tried to install media player and I found it is unable to play MP3... It is a common error or I did anything wrong? It can be because I encode all my Albums using 192bps?

Software wise, there is a good image viewer in Plus for the H/PC...
It's on John Ottini's top 10:

As for reworking images. There's Pocket Artist. however I'm fairly certain that was a 2000 release only. You could email conduits and ask if they have / would compile a version of the HPC build for you.

As for the media player. It's max capable bitrate is 128kbps. I had the same problem in that my entire library is 192 as well.
There's an Arm / MIPS build of GSPlayer at the bottom here:
http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA032810/

You could also try and find an old version of Hum. I've no links for that I'm afraid.

Failing that, if you're on 98/98SE/Millennium or 2000 you can use Media Player 7.1 to drop everything to the device, which makes it compatible.

I guess my timing is right. I've been busy scouring the net for hpc/pro and hpc2k apps and have amassed a decent library, including HUM (all builds) and some reasonable graphic editing programs.

I'd like to host them all somewhere for the benefit of the hpc community.

wallace,
What are we talking about here. Freeware / Shareware. Nothing untoward like?
How many MB?

We may be able to sort something out if you're still willing.

Everything I have is legit as far as I can tell. It came from all sorts of places, developers, tucows, wayback machine and so on.

It's an even mix between shareware (time limited stuff with workarounds) and freeware. I didn't bother collecting commercial demos.

There's about 140mb of CAB files for the HPC2000 MIPS and HPC2.11 pro SH3. I dumped the ARM / SH4 stuff as I was collecting, sorry bout that guys.

Yea I have a gmail account with plenty of storage space so if you would please send me some cab files I would be grateful as long as it doesn't cause you any troubles. Better yet, just send me links to the email address I have posted here because I don't like to post my gmail.

-only if it isn't any trouble

Oh I forgot to mention that I will make a site or at least a portion of my site dedicated to HPC software. Most likely I will only have links because of monthly bandwidth limits, and people could get software by sending me emails.

-(Worth a try though, but being a low budget student who will only go for free hosting, this is about all I can contribute to the HPC community at the moment)

Hahah this is off topic but maybe someone can tell me a site that will host more than yahoo's 15 mb for free, though I think I will find a way around yahoo's limit.

I recently purchased an Aero 8000 and am always on the lookout for sh4-compatible software. Can you direct me to the Yahoo group?
