I know my enterasys pulls in a lot more with a 7.0dbi antenna attached and it would be interesting to see if there's a difference.
(I don't have any network sharing set up personally, I'll look for a speed test..

not quite on topic as it's internet
dslreports speed test. On a J720:
sandisk wifi/128cf: 255kbits/s
enterasys int: 265kbits/s
enterasys ext: 300kbits/s
kbits/s??? thats not much...
ive been able to achieve over 150 kbyte/s
(around 1200 kbit/s
) with the j728 and around 250 kbyte/s with the 900c...
with my senao wlan!
this senao isn't the same you're talking about, ive had such a senao too, with a weak internal antenna, which also had a connector for an external antenna. that one was indeed weak without the extra antenna. but the one i use regularly is OK.
(and has no connector at all

pocketdvd: yeah http is faster. also ftp is faster too, used it over the home lan, with my senao and got similar speeds as with http.
