| On the Jornada 680 (running WinCE 2.11). To pass off my Pocket IE as IE 6.0, I tried to edit the Register using PRegedit ---as per the following suggestion that was made to me.
"Change the agent to "MSIE 6.0, Windows NT 5.0"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent]
PROBLEM: I can get to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\
but then I can no longer follow the string described above. There is no 'Windows' folder under microsoft in the HKEY Just 'WINDOWS CE SERVICES' leading only to 'PARTNERS'.
Is that possible? What am I doing wrong?
Thanks ..... karl ..... | |

| Is there any registry hack or software application that can let my Jornada 690 (H/PC Pro 3.01 running WinCE 2.11 core) access websites that require IE 5.5? I would like to use my Jornada for an online course, but I get an "Apache Error" when I try to log into the website. I have installed the 128 bit encryption update as well as SP1. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks. | |

| No, under Pro the registry modification isn't a valid key, so Pocket IE's UA cannot be changed. | |
