I can't seem to log into gmail with PIE 4 on my J720. I'm pretty sure I have before but now after typing in my user name and password, it just tries to connect forever and locks PIE. I have to soft reset to get out. I've also tried ftxbrowser and it just closes down. I've searched around here, soft reset, cleared caches, etc with no change.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Thanks cmonex! It was the cookies that were killing it. PIE works fine now but ftxbrowser still dies. No big deal. I appreciate the help.

Gmail in PIE works for me too, after killing cookies. As an alternative, you should be able to set up POP3 access to Gmail with the Inbox applet. I haven't tried it with Gmail, but it works fine with my other POP3 server...

no, you cannot.

you need a third party email application, qmail3 or nPOP

Arrgh! Now gmail has stopped working for me too! It seems like all the email apps are broken for me. I've tried clearing cookies & cache in PIE. Is there anything else to try?

Clearing cookies multiple times didn't help, but installing ftxbrowser and continuing to clear everything made it work eventually. And after it worked in ftxbrowser it worked in PIE again. Weird!
