Google has a customized homepage feature that lets you add all kinds of content to it, including weather info, clocks, games, and most importantly RSS feeds. On mine I've added slashdot, digg, engadget, etc. and was trying to add the RSS link from one of the forums;

http://www.hpcfactor.com/forums/forums/rss.asp?fid=34

This, however, doesn't work. I think perhaps Google is expecting the page to end in ".xml" or something. Anyone else tried this and get it to work?

FYI - to setup your own customized Google page go here;

http://www.google.com/ig

It's pretty cool as you can add content and then drag it around and rearrange your page as you like. Makes checking a bunch of sites really easy.

I think I got it working... Click 'Add COntent' at the top left hand corner of the Google.com/ig page... Then click: create content and type in HPC Factor and there you go...

Cyberstorm,

Have you got it working? What about the main news feed rather than the forums?

It's not really process feasable for us to generate a .xml file to do it, it's more processor efficient to do it this way.

Yea I did get it to work now! The really weird thing is I thought for sure I got the rss link from a little rss icon while viewing the forums and now I don't see it?! Anyway, I went back to the homepage for hpcfactor and clicked the rss link there and then copied the link locations, pasted it into google, and it worked. The only thing is, I don't see THIS forum in the list? I think I'm losing my vision or something!! Can any of you see this "General Discussion" forum in the list here;

H/PC General hasn't been added to the syndication list.
It has been done on purpose.

I have something (that I think) is cool for the RSS feeds coming. I'll be releasing it shortly.
Depending on how you use your H/PC you'll either think it meaningless or better than before. My lips are sealed.
