The latest versions of Minimo (.12 and .13rc1) run on my Netbook Pro! All I needed to do was drop in a dummy cellcore dll and double click on the "runner." It takes a while to start up and is a bit slow, but it also does the best job I have yet seen of rendering pages like a destop web browser. The user preferences need to be significantly fleshed out, but Minimo is very useable and useful in its current state.

Yes, much better than Pocket IE 6. By default it renders in single column mode, so you have to pick the menu option to switch to desktop rendering and then restart it. It still takes ~20 seconds maybe to start up and is a little sluggish at points, but the near desktop equivalency of the page rendering makes it worth it, imo.

Hey it's always nice to have an alternative browser! Even tho so far I haven't had any complaints with IE6. Some pages still have horizontal scrolling but I don't know if it's the site's fault (AAAAHHHHEMMM). I'd like to try it out to see if pages get rendered any better, if only I can get around to it...

Lol. The horizontal scrolling is because of the sidebar on the site. That is meant for XGA devices, such as our pc's. C:Amie is working something up for the handhelds.
