| Why wont the UK JVC Product centre sell to the US? The US Product center is crap, and doesn't have crap. LOL
Anyways, (just testing the waters, haven't dedcided if I want it yet) Would one of the UK members here be willing to order something from JVC on their Credit Card or other form of payment (needs to be a UK address) and then send the package to me once it was recieved? This, of course, would be after I paypal you the money to cover it.
Thank you,
Moe |

| What JVC product are you buying? I would remind you that the UK power plug is different AND more importantly the voltage is different. I need to use a voltage converter to charge my SmartBook.
However most electronics nowadays come with multi-voltage adapter, in which case you only need to convert the plug. |

| It is a JVC MP-XV841 battery. It is actually listed as going to that laptop, so it should be good. I need to decide if I actually want to buy it or not. It comes with the extended battery, this is the "slim" battery. A 512 memory upgrade (bringing to 768 total ) is going to happen first though, of that I am certain. Tracking on the laptop shows it arriving tomorrow- I can't wait!
BTW, This is it

As I stated in the first post, I haven't decided if I actually want to buy it, and didn't know if anyone would do it. I figured I would ask before I decided if I wanted it or not-didn't want to get my heart set on it to get shot down after, you know? If I do decide to get it, I will update the post and ask for assistance. I am going to check out ebay, and if I decide to get it, it won't be for probably a month or so.
Thanks,
Moe |

| I don't get it. Why can't you just buy it in US? |

| MoMagnum, that would be true, but I would calculate the shipping cost as well. That'll be the biggest stinger.
My MP would cost me $150 to have it shipped to the UK from somewhere near Kansas City, I said no and had it shipped to snowy New York instead, my fathers company pays for the shipping here instead! :- )
(From March, I can't do that though! :- ( )
They then pay the UK shipping. |
