Yeah, but maybe we're on to something here - anti-glare coating for the H/PC screen!?

I expected this thread would be frozen, so I didn't reply.

Umm, that's about as off-topic as it gets, and this is in the Hardware Support forum...

Well, I guess that it is considered hardware in a...hardware store!

He probably has a large glass window that the sun comes into all day, and he cannot see his HPC screen. So it may be a legitimate question. As for films 3M is good

Well folks ... as far as the HPC screens are concerned, I don't think any film will help much. The top most layer is the touchscreen ... which is matte (Read: BLUR!) ... I doubt putting anything on it physically will help. Unless is some chemical bonding process that effectively removes the rough matte surface.

If you are looking for films on Anti-Reflection, maybe check your local library. They have plenty of non-motivational videos.

Having not yet checked the link, I assume you're not talking about Scotch tape.

What about screen protectors? Those generally reduce glare. Then again, the palm/ppc screens they are on tend to be highly reflective, and shiny. Unlike our screens, still using yesteryears (or yesteryesteryears) technology.
