I'm a little confused...

On the old site, there was simply a "new messages" search button.

What is the difference between

Posts active today
Your active threads
View unanswered posts

I can figure out the first one...that would all new posts after midnight I assume, and I'm guessing that my active threads are messages I posted in. Is that right?

What is the third one then?

Posts active today lists all threads that have had any activity in the current 24 hour period.
Your Active is as above but only those posts which you have had involvment in
Unanswered poosts are threads on the forum with 0 reply counts

There is also Latest threads in the left hand navigation which takes you to new threads in your current active server session (i.e. since you last signed onto the site)

Ahh that explains it. So if I log on and chose Posts Active Today...and then log on again 13 hours later (which I often do) the same posts will show up again without any changes if no one else posted....so no way to really just show posts that have had new replies since my last logon?

p.s. I feel sorry for Monica...if she were to choose "your active threads" then she'd see every post there is.....you can't stop her...she a posting junkie!
