| The toothpaste method does work on cds and dvds, I have done it myself (and saved some quite rare software a couple of times).
I guess it would work on the screen too, thinking about it. Those scratches are rather light - worth a try. But you could also get a replacement touch screen film from a broken Jornada.
Sharp bamboo stick? Some people really are senseless. |

| I didn't touch the screen with it afterwards.
Hey, it was C:Amie's idea, and after a year of telling him it was ridiculous, I tried it. |

| You've been sounding a little tired of your Velo lately. I thought maybe you were ready to reassign it to guinea pig status. |

| and speaking of guinea pigs, as i was surfing the web, i found an electronic one... too bad it's not plugging into the USB port. Every time i see something that can be plugged into an USB port, (even if it's useless and stupid) i feel the need to have it.
See, the only downside in a J720 is the lack of USB ports... you can't plug in card readers, fish tanks, ashtrays, coffee mug holders, fans, led lights, lava lamps, hamster wheel of death, usb destructo buttons, and so forth...
Whoops... OT.

| I'd buy one cmonex.
I'm scared it will snap the bottom of my device off though ..
Edit: Hey, I have a 3com megaherts cardbus and a xircom creditcard. they seem to have the kind of fat plug like here,
Could I get a cord link this and use the drivers for the CF one for mine? Edited by macmee 2006-11-21 7:26 PM

it won't snap off the bottom. you can use it in the pcmcia slot with a cheap pcmcia-cf adapter.
cardbus won't work. 16 bit pcmcia will if those cf drivers are for the same card (just in cf format ). sorry it was unclear to me what cf drivers you meant |

| I have a wireless card on the PCMCIA slot. So I need that.
I was referring to the Ratoc USB device as the "CF Card" . |
