| I just recently got a Mobilepro 770 on Ebay, it works great.
A friend of mine from work gave me a 3Com Model 3CCFE574BT ethernet Lan PC Card. Would this work in my 770? It is not listed on the compatibility list.
Any help would be greatful.

| I am now owndering which ethernet and wireless card you recommend for my Mobilepro 770. I am looking at the Compaq WL100 wireless and the Linksys NP10T and 3Com 3C589. Any other suggestions? |

| I have a Kingston CIO10T Ethernet card that I ordered from a British site, and it works great. As far as wireless cards go, I'm a big believer in the Agere ORiNOCO Classic PCMCIA WLAN card. But check the Hardware Compatibility List on this site for compatible Ethernet and WLAN cards. (That's how I found these. ) |

| I recommend that you do have a look through the HCL, it's worth checking the notes and driver downloads that are in there.
If you go for a 3C589, go for a 3C589C, but be aware that it is a 5v card, you would be better off going for something more generic, low voltage and CF. |

| What do you think of the COmpaq WL-100 wireless card? The HCL list says that it is compatible with the HPC Pro version of windows CE (CE 2.11). Any thoughts? |

| I will go ahead and throw in my recommendation. I have a MP800 (770 with 800x600 screen) and I use the DCF660W with the Prism Reference driver. It is a CF card, so you could use it in either slot with a PCMCIA adapter.

| I would rather not use a CF card. I have a 128MB card I am using for program storage. I would rather use my PCMCIA slot for the wireless card. |

| Right, you can get a PCMCIA adapter for the CF wifi card. It works great, that's what I do with mine. I have 128mb CF and the PCMCIA adapter + DCF-660W. |

| Try the "SOHO" lan card that shows up on Ebay all the time, cheap. It works on the xx2000/2001 drivers resident in the CE system. It works in every H/PC that I have tried, including the mp800, which is the same basic ROM as your 770. |

| What is the part number of the card you are talking about? I looked but nothing. |

| I concur with abyssknight, getitng a inexpensive CF > PCMCIA adapter (we're talking 1 if that) will give you the best of both worlds. |

| I just got a Netgear MA401 wireless card for my Mobilepro 770 and I understand that there are no specific drivers for it. I read and downloaded the Prism driver but when I try to run the program it says that I need Windows CE services 2.0 or greater to load. I am running activesync 3.8. What am I doing wrong?? Please help.

| Also, I am trying to install the 3c589ce file and it is also asking for Windows CE services. HELP please!!! |
