| Ok can we list what softwares and hardwares would work. We can make this very easy for all and also help Rich add to his website the MP800.
software - Iomega clik (USB) make your USB to use other USB items other than a mouse or keyboard.
You can use a USB memory stick, etc.
Hardware - ?
I want to get the best out of this machine.
If everything works well then I may get another one.
I am going to get the serial cable, battery and ac adapter from alancomputech and extra battery from a member here.
What else will work in the USB drive ,Rich?
S/F,
CEYA!

Anything that works on a 770/780 should work on a 800. I am thinking of a beginners guide to Mp and what I recommend as well as others.
Psssst! Don't tell anyone, but I think you can add HPC2k to the 800 too, I can't test, until I got my 890. The ROMs look identical which contridicts what others say. |

| The rom chips may be compatible in size, but the clock speeds are different....doubt they will work, but it will be interesting to see what you discover.

| Wessex, if you want help with that MP guide I think its a great idea. I need to debug my distorted image issue, but that's another thread another time.
I'm hoping to pick up some accessories soon, as we just got a sweet bonus at work. Not sure what to get first, but the VGA cable is sounding like a good buy. |

Well, if the ROM from the 880 work in the 800, then the 790 should work in the 800, IN THEORY!
I might bust my old 780 ROM first as proof of concept (as in the spare unit. ) |

| Careful. Do you mean the Clik!USB or the Iomega Clik drive?
If you mean the first one, I made a post with the link to the cab. Just do a search. |

| OK, I give up. I did a search on CLIK, CLIK Drivers and couldn't find the link. I even did a search on posts by abyssknight and didn't get the link. Can anyone point me in the right direction then? I'm looking for the Clik drivers to be able to use usb pen drives on my MP 800 thanks. |
