| I replaced it by the 9v 1000ma from a 28.8 USR sportser modem. Since my 28.8 Mac sportster has the same PS I guess I also have a spare.
Each complete modem cost $3 at the strift store. Cheaper than ordering an original or compatible NEC on ebay + pay shipping charges.

My next goal is to source a cheapie 13.5.v 3A supply for my 800s. I reacll some common printers using that source. I'll check a couple more thrift stores in my area for them
Maybe I'll get lucky and find myself a clean BJC1000. I know it'd old but it's durable and I've filled my parents tanks>30each with no fuss and no degradation.
I Still have a rummage box of parts to root through. Perhaps l'll get lucky. Come to think off of it I have some speakers withs subs that are pretty close voltage wise.
Scrounging can be as fun as owning or using. Btreathing new life into an old machiinenis fun.
