Have been able to get my handheld to talk to Windows 2000 and would now like it to talk to XP. HPC Factor recommends the Windows CE 2 upgrade for it, but I believe I need new hardware as well, i.e. a new ROM chip according to the article at http://www.hpcfactor.com/hardware/rom/ce20/. I have looked at the CESD-C-0002 document which notes an imcompatibility of CE 1 with XP, so do not want to risk installing it. Does anyone know where I can get hold of the ROM chip I need?
you can get it to communicate to XP even with CE1, don't worry. if you need help with that, post in the CE1 area. there's already some thread on it there.
