| Hi,
I have a computer running Ubuntu 5.10 on a Hard Drive with NTFS... I would like to install FreeDos instead, but FreeDos does not support NTFS... Is there any way of formatting the hard drive fat32?
Thanks,
Joseph | |

| Well, you can boot up to a linux live-cd (e.g. live version of ubuntu or knoppix). Then just recreate the partition with cfdisk (making fat32 partition of course), and then format it. That would probably be your best bet. | |

| I am not that experienced with Linux yet. What is cfdisk?
I can use the Ubuntu live cd
Thanks,

| It's a partition manager. You need to delete the NTFS partition - which you can do using a Windows XP/2000 install CD if necessary or by following advanced setup on most bootable linux install CD's. | |
