Hi!

Just bought my 720 off ebay and should be here in a few days. i've had a variety of PDA's including a j680.

I am just getting some software together for when it arrives.

Wondering if there is anything i should look for?
I have the driver for my orinoco gold card that i used on my 680, and active sync 3.8, the xml update from the hp site.

Am loving your site, lot of info to take in - but best of all its all CURRENT and PEOPLE ACTUALLY POST HERE!!!

I am looking around for a solution on getting msn messenger or a clone running.

Also when i loaded the gmail page on my 680 it would load my inbox but not completely and give me some XML messages, is this fixed with the XML patch for the 720?

Will be reading all i can for the next few days.

Thanks
Scotty

I can get onto Google Mail using my 720 (no patchs installed), so it should work. The 680 couldn't very well though.

GAMES, dude. GAMES.

Ballshooter is a good company for that:

However, I don't think they GIVE their software away, so you'll probably have to buy them, but you should still download some demos, to get the feel of gaming on a j720.

Also, don't forget CoreCodec's TCPMP(The Core Pocket Media Player). It's great for watching movies and stuff.

But if you're having trouble finding software for the j720, there's always Google...

Eh, that's all you young whippersnappers do - play games. Seriously, though, Rich Hawley's site (http://www.hpcnec.com) has lots of games for ARM-based HPCs. (The focus there is on the NEC MP900 and 900c, but the 900 runs on H/PC 2000, and I'm guessing that nearly all the games work in this OS [as opposed to CE 4.x .net].)

Finally arrived!!

Gmail does not work for me - i get the log in page but once i click login after putting in user/pass it just sits there, like its loading but doest go anywhere?

Any suggestions?

I can't open netbank site either?

Does it make a difference that my 720 has a slightly diff keyboard? - not sure what language - but there are a few different and some swapped around keys, and all keys have an extra character on them - in a diff language.

Any help would be great.
