I think the only 3d look it has is if you have a background of a field on the desktop. Would you mind telling what parts look 3d?

-What is this? A gamer trying to get the 3d look out of his handheld pc?

hahaha ... good one! No, I'm not trying to get the 3D look out ... in the sense of a game. Rather, its the Win95-3D buttons, bevels etc that I was wondering if it can be turned off with a reg tweak or something...

Or is there something like Windows Blinds ... oh wait, there is, its called PocketBlinds ... anyone tried that yet?

There is a skinner application for HPC2000, I always forget what it is called, and true to form I have forgotten. I'm sure Henri can help you out there though.

This is relevant to the skinning discussion at hand.

I'm trying to revamp the look of CE 3.0 on the MIPS machine -- does anyone know where I can find CESHELL.DLL for MIPS of Windows CE 3.0? Or maybe a BE300 version...?

I have a suspicion that I know what you want to do here. You should know that making Icons for CE isn't quite as smooth as for mainstream Windows.

You really need to use eVT / Visual Studio to do it.

So I can't do what the BE300 guys do and use michelangelo (reads icons from DLLs) to open ceshell.dll?

michelangelo is one app I haven't tried it with.
But you will need 256 Windows Pallet colour versions. No 16 24 or 32-bit.

CE doesn't like being resource hacked that much either.

Besides, I don't have a mips version of the ceshell dll anyway.
