| My favorite computer brand: Homemade. Actually it is not a brand, but I assemble my own desktops from components...been doing it for years. Cost a little more sometimes, but I get the system I want with the components I want. I have a cheapo full tower case, but have all the nice internals:
Athlon 64 4000+ with Asus A8N-SLI motherboard, with 2gb of ddr 400 ram, and a EVGA GeForce 6800 video card.
In the top drive bay is a cheapo internal speaker that I have a pair of headphones plugged into.
Going down you see a zip 250 drive, Teac CD-R drive, DVD recorder, 6 in 1 card reader and then a floppy. Internally there is a 200gb hd and in the rear is the water cooling system that makes it nice and quiet.

| Homemade, defintiely. For CPUs I usually go with AMD, motherboards from Asus, RAM from Crucial. |

| Homemade roxxxorz (rotfl )
I don't know any manufacturer that creates big-tower cases with room for complete WC kit (pump+CPU/NB/GPU blocks+heater from Fiat 125 ) - everything INSIDE the case. So, definately Homemade (tm ) |

| I can never find any decent sized cases like that. I want them for my servers. Does anybody know anywhere in the UK that sells them? Maplin's used to do them but its not in there catalogue anymore.
Are they just in Beige? Or Black too?
Cheers,
Nick |

| My desktop computer's put together from parts too. (If you look really close, you can see the stitches. ) When the time comes for a new one, I'll be doing it the same way. |

| Better tell Steve Jobs that you don't like Intel, cuz the newer Macs are using Intel processors. |

Better tell Steve Jobs that you don't like Intel, cuz the newer Macs are using Intel processors. Yeah, and I'm sorry Dell does not use AMD chips. |
