I see an IP address, but it's because I put those numbers in my HPC network settings....OR is it actually the vxutil finding it for me? I notice that whatever I enter on my HPC network settings, that's what comes on the vxutil INFO option.

if you use DHCP then it will give you the real information...
with static ip no need to use vxutil. |

I see an IP address, but it's because I put it there in the HPC network settings. The vxutil seems to be just displaying information that I put on the HPC network settings. Could this be true?

I set the HPC now on automatic find dhcp. It's telling me "DHCP was unable to obtain an IP address. You can reinsert your card later or staistically assign an address."

if you have already reset / reinserted card more than 3-4 times, the driver is wrong -- did you try the one i linked in this thread a few hours ago?
edit: sorry i see you have a dlink card and CE 2.11. forget that driver i linked! i'll send you another which should work. |

ok, i realized you should just try the dlink 660 drivers in the hcl: http//hpcfactor.com/hcl and there download the ce 2.11 (hpc pro) drivers for the dlink 660

Now that I'm on the web with my HPC's, the Jornada tells me some sites have "BAD URL"'s and also some security issues on other sites. The MP 780 gives more surf freedom but Hotmail tells me that I need security downloads or something like unable to open site....???

You might need the 128-bit security update.

Netfront 33 works with many secure sites. Download it from cmonex and install it. Also, install the 128 bit update as mentioned.

My HPCS have 128 bit update, but I'll try the Netfront...Will the trial have all the bells and whistles of a regular version? Or what limitations does it have? Thank you...
