Hi,

On one of my computers (768RAM/2.4GHZ/74GB/WinXP) it seems to have 'install' problems.. I have tried installing Star Trek Elite Force II and I get an error stating I dont have enough memory/free space or I get the generic 'This program has encountered a problem and needs to close', but I have at least 30GB free and at least 500 MB of RAm left.. I also tried Star Trek Starship Creator Warp II and still problems.. They both use the Install Shield engine, so do I need to update that? I filed an error report with MacroVision (makes installshield) and they will send me an email hopefully soon..

Thanks,
Joseph

Are the games designed for 9x or older? Is that why you were working on getting 95 running/

Star Trek ELite Force II is for 98/ME/2000/XP , but the other one is for 9x/2000 ,i think... BTW, I wanted Windows 95 for the DOS support, because I do not feel like messing with the config.sys and autoexec.bat just for my old DOS games...

I find I can't live without DOS for certain jobs. Hence my tablet and 98se.

But the memory thing is weird then. Have you tried shutting off your anti-virus and try to install?
