| Hi,
On one of my computers (768RAM/2.4GHZ/74GB/WinXP) it seems to have 'install' problems.. I have tried installing Star Trek Elite Force II and I get an error stating I dont have enough memory/free space or I get the generic 'This program has encountered a problem and needs to close', but I have at least 30GB free and at least 500 MB of RAm left.. I also tried Star Trek Starship Creator Warp II and still problems.. They both use the Install Shield engine, so do I need to update that? I filed an error report with MacroVision (makes installshield) and they will send me an email hopefully soon..
Thanks,
Joseph | |

| Are the games designed for 9x or older? Is that why you were working on getting 95 running/ | |

| Star Trek ELite Force II is for 98/ME/2000/XP , but the other one is for 9x/2000 ,i think... BTW, I wanted Windows 95 for the DOS support, because I do not feel like messing with the config.sys and autoexec.bat just for my old DOS games... | |

| I find I can't live without DOS for certain jobs. Hence my tablet and 98se.
But the memory thing is weird then. Have you tried shutting off your anti-virus and try to install? | |
