I finally was able to get my Jornada set up to access the internet through my mobile phone, and now I'm having problems viewing certain web sites.
I received a message saying that I was using Internet explorer version 4 or older and need to update in order to view the site. Any idea where I can get a download to update Internet Explorer for HPC2000?

There is a lot of grumbling to make a new web browser. But right now you can *fake* IE 5.5/6.0. Here are the instructions from http://www.pc-counselor.com/j720.htm :

If you want to do it manually these are the registry keys that should be changed:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr
entVersion\Internet Settings]
"User Agent"="Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; Q312461; .NET CLR 1.0.3705) "

I'd like to give that a try. How would I go about editing the registry keys on the Jornada?

ProgSyn: I tried the above ... so what's the diff really? I realise that the Javascript in the Hotmail site still does not work ... did I miss something or is that the way it is?

Am using MP790.

I spent the $10 and bought Tweaks2k2, and I can almost access the site I was looking for. Now it's asking for "Flash". Is there a version available for HPC 2000?
