| Folks!
The new PDF reader from Foxit Software (http://www.foxitsoftware.com/foxitreader/rd_ppc.php) is also working on WinCE.NET 4.2 devices. I have tried it on my netBook Pro and it is blazing fast!
A few quircks, but I suppose that is due the early version of it.
It is a very promising piece of software that can surpass Acrobat Reader 2.0
Most important of all, it runs without any changes or hexing of the executable on your WinCE device!

| Well, interesting news. Always nice to see another pdf reader appear. I wonder if it has any relation to the open source reader in the other thread? |

|
| This is not opensource, it is a commercial piece of software. |

| This is great news! I use Foxit on my desktops. It is much, much faster than Adobe. It starts up almost instantly, compared to the bloated mess that is Adobe Reader 7, and has a much smaller memory footprint. |

| Can you print pdfs from this viewer? |

this probably isn't true even for cenet 4.2. depends on the OEM's implementation.
but i will check out this software.. getting so many pdf viewers for CE.. can't count all of them lol.
there's primer, acrobat reader 1.0 and 2.0, westtek cenet pdf viewer, picselbrowser (on my sig3 ), bsquare fileviewer (on my bsquare phh ) pocketxpdf, this one, and what else..? |

| Ansyr Primer 3.1 |

|
| Download the beta version of Foxit PDF Reader and simply copy to your device and run it.
No hacking required, it runs smoothly. |

yeah maybe it is true of the netbook pro... |

| Looks nice but zooming doesn't work on my NB Pro.
Pressing "+" or "-" only zooms deeper into the page.
Page rendering is very quick and much better than the built-in PDF viewer

| Yeah, some improvements are possible, but it is still beta.
So, I'd expect that most of these issues will be fixed in the final release.
Certainly, the Foxit PDF reader is blazing fast compared to Ansyr Primer PDF 3.1 or the lackluster PDF Viewer.
Many PDF files are not properly rendered in the built-in PDF Viewer, Foxit does it correctly.
Reminds me to my old Series 7 PDF+ software... (still have the Series7 somewhere in my drawers).
