| Does anyone out here use gmail? I am using hotmail right now and I have been curious about its advantages... Also, will it work on PIE 2.0?
THanks,

| I use Gmail, its a good service, no adverts, can be used with POP/SMTP (secured only). It doesnt work on my Jornada 720 though, no matter what i do. You may be able to connect with that nPop application though. |

it's surely better than hotmail.
but it's not my main account, i don't like their spam policy for example. i only recently realized gmail puts some emails into the spam section... and then deletes them after 30 days... quite a few lost emails eh? it does put genuine emails there. |

| I too have a gmail account. The jury is still out though how well I like it. It does stop a lot of spam that my standard Charter email account doesn't. As a matter of fact, I get more trash through my Charter than anyone deserves, and they claim there is nothing they can do about it. Drives me buggy! I may end up switching completely soon, I'm sick of spam. SICK!!!!
My friend has some program he runs that scrambles all of his outgoing email so that the email address is never displayed. Claims that he has never receive a single spam email yet. You have to know his email addy, you can't reply to any of his emails which is kind of a pain sometimes, but stll, that is another option I may consider.

| Does QMail have a CE 2.0 version? I was looking at this thread: http://www.hpcfactor.com/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=1982&posts=10&highlight=gmail&highlightmode=1#M18539 ..EDIT: I see it does not.. So the PPC outlook can support gmail (that is progress ). EDIT: Will Qmail2 work with gmail? It has a CE 2 version..
