Hotmail screen problems

As of this morning, my main screen is acting up. When I read a message the colour inverts and I cannot do anything. I've uninstalled and re-installed the program but the same thing is happening. Does anyone know, is this a general fault or is the problem at my end. Thanks.

Maybe it would help if you let us know whether you are using the browser to view your hotmail emails or not. What app are you using?
