Hi there,
As you might have hathered from previous listings, my cradle is broken. Bad design (in my opinion) as it is too big and bulky and snaps in a briefcase!

Anyway, thanks to the help here I can sync via infrared but it is a pain and very slow, especially when I need to install software or copy large files.

My question, to any hardware gurus is can I wire up a USB or mini USB socket to the PHH?

Im sure it's possible as the cradle has power and USB connectors going to the special connector at the back of the PHH. I was wondering if there is a pin-out of that connector so I can solder a USB socket to the back of it and either fit it to the case or sinply have it hanging out of the end.

That way I don't need the cradle at all.

I hope someone can help!!!!

Mike

buy a card reader & SD card... should be the easiest solution and much faster than usb sync..

or if you have a wlan card & wlan router, you can sync via wlan.

no idea about usb
