Hi all, I just got the external monitor cable and it works great on my MP790!!

Question is ... can I display in other resolution other than the standard 640X240? I know PocketPowerPoint can do that ... but can I do it in other apps or natively in anywhere?

Also, is there a mouse I can use with it?

btw, the display on external monitor is simply awesome!! hehe ... suddenly seeing HPC2000 on a *BIG* screen is kinda cool!!

Only if the driver supports it, in which case there will be a setting somewhere.
That or nyditot.

It is a bit strange to get used to isn't it. CE on a 21" screen - weird

... hehe ... its not mine per se. Its a common pc in the community I live in. If I can "replace" the pc, then I dun even need to use the common pc, I just use my mp790!

btw, I found a link yesternight about a "HotJava Webbrowser from Sun". http://prt.fernuni-hagen.de/~bischoff/wince/Andreas_WINCE_Jornada_stuff.html ... wonder if you folks tried it before?

I tried Waba and SuperWaba on my mp790, but have no idea what it takes to run .jar apps with it. So I'm like ....

On my NEC Mobile Gear II 520, There is a Setting program in Control Panel that you can change the Display Output Resolution to 800X600 or 640X480. I don't know if your MP790 has it, but maybe look around, and there might be a setting program from the OEM.

P.S. mine's not a h/pc 2000 but pro.
