If you don't want to wait, it is fairly easy enough to do the OS version hexedit yourself. If you don't want to do a manual hexedit and you have a CE 3.0+ device, you can just use Hou Ming's wonderful ExecutabilityCheck on your apps/support dlls and then copy them to your CE 2.11/2.12 device. It seems some folks in this thread already did try some things.

Does executability check work with WM5, or does that defeat the point of that program?
EDIT: I want to try programs on my PSPC and HPC...
Never Mind
EDIT2: I dont see how exec check could help me... (need a MIPS or SH3 HPC anyway with ce3+ (i think)

The reason why your downloads seldome work for me is because the isp sees what I assume to be MSIE, and then attempts to redirect it into an advertising frame, at which point the download connection is sent the html file, not the file download.

U probably right click on the link and Save Target as??

in China, the original link posted by Cmonex works great without any problem. I just click on the link, not right click.

yes iamjoe is absolutely correct. i'm just lazy to warn people when giving a direct link as i assume they should've learnt that over the years of using the web. but i will repeat it: never click "save target as" on a file that is linked directly.

btw this isn't an ISP. this is just a free hosting site that wants everyone to view their ads and there's the second reason for not working downloads (at fw.hu) that started recently: you should not close the popups before finishing the download. this wasn't like this before! i desperately need a better server, but someone who offered hosting for me disappeared so i'll have to put up with this for a while until i find something better
