| It might be possible to extract the SWF from within the executable (if indeed it's there ), though it might require a desktop utility to extract resources from within files. Nothing to lose by trying an easier (possible ) solution, though - try right-clicking on one of the executables to see if "Extract files" comes up as a choice in the popup menu. (Doubtful, though, since that's normally the case only with self-extracting installer files. ) |

| Hmm.. I right clicked already.. nothing. If i use an alternate software to extract the swf file any suggestions? I have confirmed that the files are flash version 4. Also when i look up the properties for the files it says "SwFlsh32.exe" under orignal value name. dont kow if that makes any difference. |

I use the extraction program by Northcode called exe2swf. It works very well. You use it on your Windows computer to extract the swf file then transfer the swf file over to your Hpc. Here is the link:

| Okay.. so the good news is that the flash files play. However now the picture size is to big. It goes off the screen. Anyone suggestions as to a program that can resize the picture to the jornada's 640x240 res.? |

| You can use Nyditot Virtual Display to change the virtual resolution of the display to whatever dimensions you want. It's not free (20 USD ) but it's a very helpful tool for us H/PC users.
BTW, nice resource, Deedee. Thanx for the link. |

| Ok, well I've managed to hex edit flash.dll, registered it successfully, the question is now, how do I actually view swf files? Do I need some kind of flash player software? Many thanks.
On a side not, is it possible to edit posts? |

| If there's an HTML file that comes with it, you open that in the Web browser you use on your CE device to activate the SWF. However, cmonex has a download link for a standalone Flash 6 player (for viewing SWF files directly ) on her site. It's down temporarily, but you can e-mail her by clicking on the 'e-mail' button on one of her posts. |
