Hello, I would like to add USB capability to my MobilePro 790.
There are PCMCIA adaptors supported by HPC2000.
I need this adapter to connect a mouse and external storage if possible.

Any ideas?

Thank you.
Sergio

From what I heard, USB is not supported ... ... but if you do find a USB PCMCIA pccard, do let us know ya? You never know, there might just be a manufacturer with a heart out there!!

Like Snappy, I know of none either. There are OCHI drivers for HPC2000 though so it is technically possible.

The big problem would be in device drivers rather than controller drivers. You would have to ask every USB hardware vendor to write CE3 drivers (aside from the basics supported in OHCI)

Talking about drivers ... actually, has anyone tried writing one for HPC2000?

But is there one for USB pccards? Even USB 1.1 pccards is good enough!

If it is an OHCI controller, then I do not see why there wouldn't be support somewhere in the platform builder.
It has to be a 16-bit card of course, and Type I/II PCMCIA.

If these guys don't know of a card then it will probably be very hard to find.
