| Hey all,
Just picked up an NEC MobilePro 880, and I'm having trouble logging onto the forums here - I get a 405 error when I submit my login info. is the older Pocket IE not compatible? (could've sworn I'd logged in from my 360LX, though)

| Generally right when I get a new device I clear (hard reset) it first just to clear it of any errors or junk the previous owner left behind, tried that yet? |

Actually, the machine was at factory-spec config when I got it, without anything loaded on it, so I didn't bother. *shrug*
Just to be clear, it's running HPC 3.01 (2.11 core ) with PIE 3.01 |

| There is something reallllly weird going on with the 2.11 PIE version. It just doeesn't want to work correctly.
thcrw739's tests on his (former) Aero 8000's had it displaying nicely, can browse fine, but wouldn't log in correctly.
My z50 will not display any images from the forum code at all and will not log in either.
I keep meaning to try it under 2.00. Thanks for reminding me. |

| Kind of weird, mine is nearly the same...
Mine browses fine, for the most part. If I set PIE to fit to screen it sometimes scrambles the images as if they were corrupted during download. It does it very rarely if its not set to fit to screen but does do it sometimes none the less... as for logging in to forums. I have not found a forum script that it will allow me to log in to. Generally if it requires some sort of security it won't let me do it... HTTPS or SSL... I'll keep playing though... I know some forum scripts have options for nonsecure login, but I forget which ones they are.. I'll have to look into that. |

| ok ... that's another reason why I should not get a Vadem Clio 1050! No upgrades to CE3.0 or CE.NET!!!
Strangely, I saw people bidding up to $300++ for it!! *shudder* ... if only they let it go at $200 ... then I would be installing NetBSD on it already!! hehehe
btw, folks, gmail (via glibmailer.php ) is working on my site already!! I realised that its gotta do with the .htaccess file on my user root directory that was messing things up. Gave myself a good reason to rake up the php and code for my site.
Now I can access gmail through my own site without a problem. Even downloading attachments are working as well. That is ten more nails into hotmail.com!! ... |

Hey Stingraze, have you tried the minimo wince port yet? Its supposed to work on PPC2002 already though it still needs some work there.
PS: That is not fair!! |

I downloaded the minimo, but didn't try it yet.
I wish I owned a PPC2002, I only ownw PPC2000, but it might work on my Cassiopeia E-700...
I wonder if the minimo port works only on Win CE 3.0 core.. |
