Hello,I've the possibility to buy a Bsquare/vodafone Handheld, but I would know if I can add a wi-fi or bluetooth connection through SDIO slot?

There are some Brand/manufacturer who confirm compatibility with this device?

Thanks

yes both are possible.

the wifis i've tried and worked (sometimes with a little hack... can send the hacked drivers ready for install): pretec, spectec. and the socket wlan also works with their beta bsquare specific driver (i have that too).

bluetooth: socket (lol again socket )

edit: for socket i mean the older versions. not sure about the newer ones.

Great site guys.
I got lots of help reading through the forum.
I'm gonna get a WiFi card for my Bsquare, but all the cards i find on ebay talk about Windows CE 4.2 onwards support.
Can somebody help me out on this? Suggest me a specific card or send me working drivers for the Bsquare (Vodafone's Power Handheld ).
Thank you for your time

Hi!
I've been able to have some wifi cards working on the phh, such as Sandisk Connect (that without internal memory), Ambicom (first version) and Safecom (this you can find even on ebay, but the hacked driver works only in wzc mode, the utility doesn't work at all)
If you need the working drivers cabs I can post them somewhere

so that makes six cards confirmed to be working: your three, and pretec and spectec and socket (older version).

exactly! both the sandisk, which is - I think - a clone of the socket, and the ambicom run on PegasSDN.dll; the safecom runs on ipn21281.dll, and supports the most encryption and authentication protocols: I can use it at my university with wep and securew2 eap-ttls client!

Unfortunately not. It would be a useful card, but I have experience with a 128MB wifi CF, which internal memory has corrupted after few times I've used it, and I haven' had it repaired, because at Sandisk they told me they've dismantled their wifi dept. I fear this could happen also to the sd card

Just another to add to the list.

I use a c-guys sd wifi card, the CD only contains PPC drivers, but if you email them, they will send you the version for ce.net

Works a treat on my PHH.

Well, I think you cannot find the sandisk 256mb+wifi in stores anymore you can try looking for it on ebay, it's slightly rare
