Is there a way how to trace TCP/IP over PPP
(IrDA generic modem
)?
There is a fantastic IP sniffer
(VxSniffer
) which works very nice with an Ethernet adapter e.g. Wireless card or LAN adapter. But I see no way how to trace packets when connected using modem. Well I only tried to use it with IrDA, but probably with v.90 generic modem the result would be the same.
The basic connection to internet works well in both cases
(WLAN and IrDA - GPRS
). I can also create a VPN. But when I try to connect through the VPN tunnel with ICA client, in the IrDA case there is a problem. And I need a tool to see what's wrong
....unless someone can help me directly with some good advice
