single tap option?

maybe im asking too much out of this 680e, but is there an option or tweak to allow single taps when browsing through the lil guy? i understand i can use the keyboard and hit enter, but i want to do it with the stylus..

First of all, this post should be in Handheld PC Professional (the OS of the 680) rather than Windows CE 2.0.

Now, to the topic at hand. I'm not sure, but I suspect that there is some sort of third-party utility to do this. Maybe TapRight (which allows "tap and hold" a la Pocket PC to replace Alt+tap).

im usually telling people they posted in the wrong forum over at thinkpads.com...lol.

im not familiar with the different operating systems, and just learned that handheld pc professional is also what this is called...call me rookie.

Some applications allow single tap and "tap-and-hold", just like PPCs: I recommend GSFinder+ as a very good file explorer alternative. See the review here:

As a desktop alternative you can also use SQ (together with GSFinder+; SQ also allows single tap.
