HP 620LX CE 2.0 (ger) & 3C589 card info still wanted ?

Hi,

I followed the thread & I am having the same problem. I tried two different 3c589 cards with different cables, but none worked. No tray icon appeared, card link bear blinks for some minutes than it stays dark. I have tried it on a HP 620LX (german). Here is the data from the cards, perhaps this helps.

I guess as some poster in another thread that the German Windows CE could be the problem.....

There is obviously something in that 3Com driver which is preventing it working on non-English machines. The questions is in finding it.

Yes...sad to hear perhaps only a minor issue but....

....someone with an english system interested in buying a 3c589 with an TP / BNC dongle?
